This creamy kheer is a delicious dessert made using fox nuts, milk, sugar & dry fruits. It can be served on any occasion especially during vrat or fasting days.
Ingredients
Milk - 1 litre
Makhane - 60 grams
Sugar - 1 cup
Dry Fruits to garnish
Method
Step 1 - Boil 1/2 litre milk. Crush the makhane lightly in the mixie.
Step 2 - Add the crushed makhane in the boiled milk & pressure cook them. One whistle & 20 mins on low flame.
Step 3 - Open the pressure cooker, add the remaining 1/2 litre milk. Cook to a desired consistency.
Step 4 - Add sugar. Allow it to mix well & then switch off the gas.
Step 5 - Add desired dry fruits & serve cold.
