A delicious recipe of mutton, surely not tried by many. Make it this winter with fresh mooli ka saag.
Ingredients
Mutton - 1kg ( (My preference has always been shoulder cut mutton)
Mooli Ka Saag - 1kg
Onion - 4 medium (ground to a paste)
Ginger-Garlic Paste - 2 tablespoons
Coriander Powder - 4 teaspoons
Red Chilli Powder - 2 teaspoon
Turmeric Powder - 2 teaspoon
Whole Garam Masala - 1 tablespoons mix of Black Cardamom, Green Cardamom, Cloves, Black Pepper & Cumin & 2 Bay Leaf
Homemakerz Garam Masala - 1 teaspoon
Salt to taste
Mustard Oil - 1/2 cup
Method
Step 1 - Chop the mooli ka saag finely and boil it. When it is boiled & cool, squeeze the excess water from the saag and keep it separately.
Step 2 - Wash the mutton and pressure boil it with ground onion paste, ginger-garlic paste, coriander powder, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, salt & 1 tablespoon of mustard oil.
Step 3 - Once the mutton is done, dry the excess water one high flame.
Step 4 - Heat mustard oil in a pan, temper it with whole garam masala. Add the boiled mutton and sauté (bhuno) well. When halfway, add the mooli ka saag and continue to sauté till oil separates the sides of the pan.
Step 5 - Now add Homemakerz Garam Masala for the perfect aroma & finish.
Step 6 - Serve hot with parathas.
