Ingredients
Mutton - 500 gms
Onion - 2 sliced & 1 ground to a fine paste
Tomato - 2 sliced
Garlic Cloves - 8-10
Ginger - 2 inches
Sour Curd - 1 cup
Ginger - Garlic Paste - 1 tablepoon
Red Chilli Powder - 1/2 teaspoon
Coriander Powder - 1 teaspoon
Turmeric Powder - 1/2 teaspoon
Whole Garam Masala - 1 tablespoons mix of Black Cardamom, Green Cardamom, Cloves, Black Pepper & Cumin & 2 Bay Leaf
Whole Red Chilli - 3-4
Whole Green Chilli - 3-4
Whole Coriander - 2 tablespoons
Garam Masala Powder - 1/2 teaspoon
Oil - 5-6 tablespoons
Salt to taste
Method
Step 1 - In a pressure cooker, add mutton, all the ground/powder ingredients & salt pressure cook it until tender.
Step 2 - Dry the water completely which has been released while pressure cooking the mutton.
Step 3 - Take a pan, heat the oil & put all the whole garam masala. Let it crackle. Now add the sliced onions & sauté until brown.
Step 4 - Now add the boiled mutton and sauté ( bhuno ).
Step 5 - Add all the whole/sliced ginger, garlic, tomatoes & curd & continue to sauté
(bhuno) until oil separates.
Step 6 - Now add whole coriander, whole red & green chillies & fry for 2-3 minutes.
Step 7 - Garnish it with green coriander & ground garam masala.
Step 8 - Serve piping hot with roti.
