This comforting, classic dish, stir fry green peas, is quick, easy, and absolutely satisfying served as a starter during winters or an evening snack!
Ingredients
Fresh Green Peas - 500 grams
Whole Dry Red Chilli - 1-2
Cumin - 1/2 teaspoon
Ginger Julienne - 1 tablespoon
Salt to taste
Mustard Oil - 1 tablespoon
Fresh Coriander to garnish
Method
Step 1 - Heat oil in a pan. Temper it with cumin seeds & chopped dry red chillis.
Step 2 - Add the green peas, salt & little water.
Step 3 - Cover & cook on a low flame until done.
Step 4 - Dry the excess water. Garnish with ginger juliennes & fresh green coriander.
Step 5 - Makes a very good evening snack or starter during winter.
